01:34 pm - Anchor Lost! Just yesterday I was strolling around aimlessly when I saw the cluster of birds returning to their nests in the late evening and a thought peeped in….I LOST MY NEST! Yes I lost my father, my world. He was the world to me. They say four walls make a house and people in it make it a home. Today I have no one to make my house my nest my home. I am all alone with no one by my side to love me, hold me and to care for me. My dad meant everything to me. After a long struggle I lost. I lost to God to destiny.
Every lil thing in the house reminds me of him, I cherish the memories. His memories are with me and shall be with me till my last breath. He was unwell for quite a long while. Yet I was not prepared. The last four month struggle seemed impossible yet I did fight. When he went into the comma deep inside I knew I have lost the battle yet I kept my faith and urged for a miracle to happen. But it didn’t. Yet I was not prepared. I still remember his last moment his last breath. And it brings the same reaction and surge of emotions in me. I lost.
I guess you are never prepared for this dreadful moment in spite of all odds. You cannot accept this fact. I lost my mother at such a tender age that I don’t remember me experiencing the pain or actually understanding the fact. But today I do. The pain is immense. No amount of love can heel this gap. Today I am all by myself and I am dreading every passing moment. I have never been afraid to stay alone rather I use to and always preferred to live alone while I was working away from my dad in a different city. But then I had the sense of security. I always knew I have my dad to fall back on in case of any calamity. Today I have lost my sense of security and I am afraid. I am scared to death, what if I take a wrong decision, what if I fail? Now I have no one to go back too. There would be no one to hold me if I fall down.

10:57 am - What Planet Are You From?
| You Are From Uranus | You shine with brilliant creativity, and you're more than a little eccentric. You love everything unusual and shocking. You're one far-out chick or dude. Anything unconventional excites you - and you have genius potential. Just don't let your rebel side get the best of you, or else you'll alienate everyone. Your original thinking and funky attitude is all you need to be you. |

06:56 pm

You are Strength
Courage, strength, fortitude. Power not arrested in the act of judgement, but passing on to further action, sometimes obstinacy.
This is a card of courage and energy. It represents both the Lion's hot, roaring energy, and the Maiden's steadfast will. The innocent Maiden is unafraid, undaunted, and indomitable. In some cards she opens the lion's mouth, in others she shuts it. Either way, she proves that inner strength is more powerful than raw physical strength. That forces can be controlled and used to score a victory is very close to the message of the Chariot, which might be why, in some decks, it is Justice that is card 8 instead of Strength. With strength you can control not only the situation, but yourself. It is a card about anger and impulse management, about creative answers, leadership and maintaining one's personal honor. It can also stand for a steadfast friend.

10:39 pm - Eternal Wait!

Today after meeting my client was still lingering and was in a mood for lil chat. While I was not in a mood so behind my desk I indulged in this lil drawing I made. I named it “Eternal Wait…” while I was waiting for the client to leave, the wait word did strike to me and I converted it into eternal wait through this sketch.
I just hope my client doesn’t read my blog ;) Current Location: Home Current Mood: naughty Current Music: Kya muzhe pyar hai...

12:29 am - Parachute Advanced - Gorgeous Hamesha
I absolutely loved the new 'Parachute Advanced - Gorgeous Hamesha' commercial that has been on air recently. The ad doesn't directly talk about the product yet the intrinsic benefit of the product comes through very clearly. Its “feel good” track and simple execution makes this commercial an example of great advertising, that helps build strong brand values for the company and phenomenal recall for the product.
The ad resonates well with its consumers, with its base line 'Gorgeous Hamesha'.
I liked the lead back singing and well picturized ad makes a perfect blend indeed!

I just took the Live Earth Pledge to help end the climate crisis. The pledge will be signed by millions of people from every part of the world, to launch a movement to save our selves and our planet.
Please sign it, and ask everyone you know to sign it as well:

I PLEDGE:
1.To demand that my country join an international treaty within the next 2 years that cuts global warming pollution by 90% in developed countries and by more than half worldwide in time for the next generation to inherit a healthy earth;
2.To take personal action to help solve the climate crisis by reducing my own CO2 pollution as much as I can and offsetting the rest to become "carbon neutral;"
3.To fight for a moratorium on the construction of any new generating facility that burns coal without the capacity to safely trap and store the CO2;
4.To work for a dramatic increase in the energy efficiency of my home, workplace, school, place of worship, and means of transportation;
5.To fight for laws and policies that expand the use of renewable energy sources and reduce dependence on oil and coal;
6.To plant new trees and to join with others in preserving and protecting forests; and,
7.To buy from businesses and support leaders who share my commitment to solving the climate crisis and building a sustainable, just, and prosperous world for the 21st century.

09:06 pm - Crash!
Crash – Writer / Director - Paul Haggis
Watched Crash, Liked the movie.
Crash is a provocative treatise on racism woven together with a series of overlapping threads. Written and directed by Million Dollar Baby screenwriter Paul Haggis, Crash was inspired by an incident in which Haggis was carjacked at gunpoint in Los Angeles. Racism is a universally recognized affliction, but Haggis' victimization at the hands of black robbers caused him to explore how living in a city where everyone is cocooned in their car contributed to the problem. One theory he posits via detective Graham Waters (Don Cheadle), whose car has just been rear ended is, "In LA, nobody touches you. I think we miss that sense of touch so much that we crash just so we can feel something."
Crash comprises a number of separate stories that are loosely connected. Set over a period of 24 hours, each vignette offers a different perspective of the multi-ethnic melting pot that is life in Los Angeles. The film uses its characters not so much to tell a story, but to express an opinion, from the racial cop (Matt Dillon), to the campaigning District Attorney (Brendan Fraser) anxious to capture the black vote, to the black television director (Terence Howard) toning down his ethnicity in a predominantly white industry. All fit into well-defined stereotypes and engage in the kind of dialogue reserved more for an impassioned polemic than everyday conversation.
Crash taps into the underlying tension of city where the haves and have-nots might pull up next to each other in traffic, but are still a world apart. Haggis ventures beyond the more commonly explored white black issue to encompass a gamut of ethnic vantage points including Hispanic, Korean and Iranian. With strong performances from its ensemble cast, Crash is audacious and thought provoking if heavy handed. It succeeds in capturing the urban alienation of Los Angelenos, but does so at the cost of forging a real connection with those it uses to convey its message.

01:10 pm - Today's Thought "Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink I feel shame Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams . If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver." ~ Jack Handy
